The general impression we are getting from the style of functioning of the present government is that it will try to build its image for three to four years and then will raise contentious issues if its position remains weak. But the fringe elements will cease every opportunity to create violence and disturb communal harmony.
The new government which has made a lot of promises to the people must keep them. There have been small incidents of communal violence in some places after the new government came to power but it was not flared up or was not allowed to be flared up by anti-social elements.
Let us hope the government will try to create a peaceful atmosphere which is essential not only for foreign investment but also for overall development of the country.

If I am not wrong, I have been reading Radiance Viewsweekly since its very launch in 1963. Its gradual improvement in paper and printing quality is remarkable but lack of colour photographs still irritates. Black and white photographs are generally beyond recognition. We expect early amelioration of this last hitch.

Your Cover Story “Interpersonal Skills in Islam” by Syed Kazim (Radiance, 22-28 June 2014) makes a good reading. Turning the pages of the Qur’ān and the Seerah of Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be to him), the writer presents how interpersonal skills strengthen family, social, national and international relationships and thus make the world worth living in.
The Blessed Messenger’s ability to develop relationship with every stranger, individual or group, with a sense of human touch and his power to deal with the situation, however tense and difficult, amicably is indeed remarkable. Let us study the Seerah of the Blessed Messenger, discover the gems therefrom and disseminate them among the large segments of masses. It will certainly change the society for the better.

Killing of Mohsin Shaikh
The brutal killing of a Pune techie Mohsin Shaikh (Radiance Viewsweekly, 15-21 June 2014) is sad and shocking. His murderers too will surely die and will be presented to their Real Master, the Almighty God for receiving their punishment for this inhuman act if they do not repent. They might get punishment here too if our present judicial system works properly. However, in the present scenario, the chances of justice are less in India. But, let us be positive and hope for justice, the sooner the better.

This refers to the ongoing Iraq turmoil that has shocked the world. The terrorism which is being propagated in the name of ISIS is definitely a matter of concern and condemnable. Our media did its best to propagate that the ISIS is a Sunni-militant who wants to establish “Islamic State” in Iraq. But, the question is wherefrom this so-called “Sunni-Militant” outfit get such huge arms and ammunition and trained combatants enough to take over some big cities of Iraq? Some reports tend to prove that the ISIS combatants have been trained allegedly by CIA and NATO. The arms are supplied to them by America secretly. The unholy aspiration of America beyond this Iraq terrorism is to divide and rule and portray a tainted picture of the followers of Islam. The very first mission of peace-loving people should be to unveil this unholy aspiration of Neo-Imperial power led by the US.
