The recent shootout at the Virginia Tech University is a direct result of the destruction of the ‘Family System’ in the US. Family is the cradle or foundation on which a society is built up. This in turn creates matured and responsible individuals who are very important for a healthy social order and civilization. The absence of this very important institution results in the creation of unstable and dangerous individuals like psychopaths, sexual sadists, serial killers, etc, the like of which is very common in the US and Europe. People who attribute this solely to the uncontrolled gun culture truly fail to address the root of the problem and are hypocritical in their diagnosis.
