This refers to report “Vote for AAP in 3 Delhi Constituencies: JIH” (Radiance, 13-19 April). It was absolutely the right thing to do at the right time because there has to be some clarity so that it does not confuse the voter’s mind in reading and decoding the message put forward by Muslim groups. It is in the interest of the nation to create an alternative to put pressure on the existing political force so that people are not taken lightly and not always taken for granted. Even some MPs who can strongly put the Muslim perspective would be far more effective than to have a bunch of political parties or MPs always assuring to work for Muslims. Our religious and community leaders should help the community to unite so that they are heard and cared for and not ignored after every election.
