In a letter to President All India Congress Committee, Sonia Gandhi, and later released to the Press, President Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Rajasthan, Er. Muhammad Saleem expressed pleasure that the Congress Party has successfully defeated the communal and fascist forces almost all over the country. The “politics based on hatred and division cannot prevail for very long. The verdict given by the people is very clear, they have shown faith in the Congress Party and rejected the communal and fascist forces,” he said. The Jamaat leader also prayed to the Almighty that the country become a state based upon the virtues of peace, justice and equality that we might emerge as a powerful nation in the world.
