When there is will, there is a way looks true. Clinical psychologists not only stress on motivation for thinking and aiming high as key management principles for young students and workers in all walks of life, but confirm that no one loses on any count unless and until someone accepts defeat.

Biographies abound in failures of great achievers, who considered ‘failures as stepping stones leading to success’.

Even today, if a head of state has will for fostering peace, understanding and good relations with other countries, there is no reason for any hurdle.

The basic problem is everyone does not agree to be treated at par; the troublemakers in fact think they are superior to all others by birth; I mean Zionistic trends are the root cause directly or indirectly of all turmoil in the globe.

The human rights as contained in the speech delivered at Arafat, during the parting pilgrimage of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him), enumerating principles of unity, fraternity, liberty, equality and justice over 1400 years ago, still stand out as guiding principles for entire humanity even today being incorporated in one form or the other in constitutions of all modern nations, including the UN.

Tolerance, pluralism, truth and nonviolence demonstrated by the State during the reign of Prophet Muhammad and four righteous caliphs, captured the fancy even of our ‘father of nation’ who dreamt and desired similar rule in India.

The first state government formed by AAP in Delhi, during its 49-day tenure took welfare measures like providing free treated water, cheaper electricity, and corruption-free administration.

Arvind Kejriwal, who had been on the streets after resigning from his office in the Income Tax Department, has been exemplary in his practice of Gandhian principles of simplicity, nonviolence and truth, unlike any of the present protagonists of Gandhi’s.

The fact that funds are not always a problem for welfare measures, is also now proven, when AAP leaders declared that intentions were the only factor, holding up many pre-poll promises.

The last nail in the coffin of false promises was driven when in a TV interview, the BJP president quipped that it was simply a ‘poll campaigning phrase’ (chunaavi jumla), when questioned about bringing back black money from foreign accounts and crediting every family’s account with rupees 15 lakh as promised by PM during foregoing general elections.

The real ‘bhagodaas’ who run away from looking into poll promises, let alone implementing them were exposed the day AAP was cornered by BJP and Congress both coming together to oppose anti-corruption Janlokpal Bill.

People have seen questioning of AAP funding by Congress and BJP, both of whom received huge chunks of money from a foreign entity, and shamelessly not disclosed to this date source of major chunk of their party funds running to thousands of crores of rupees.

The latest victory of AAP in Delhi showed that when there is will, there is a way to clean and corruption-free politics and governance.
