In the world population the Muslims are more than 200 crore, which means they are 25 per cent of humanity. There are 58 independent Muslim majority countries and in addition there are big Muslim populations in non-Muslim majority countries also. In India alone there are 20 crore Muslims.
Muslims are blessed with oil and other natural resources. They have fertile lands and access to the most important waterways of the world.
Muslims have a big majority of young people. The most important thing is that they are the upholders of the Last Book of Allah and followers of the greatest and the Last Messenger of Allah. They are the inheritors of the most rational, natural and humane religion, Islam. In reality Islam represents the essenceof the teachings of all previous Messengers of God.
In addition, Muslims have been given the responsibility of being the standard bearers of the message which makes them responsible for promoting justice, piety and best human values. They are responsible for upholding justice and calling the humanity towards oneness of God and unity of mankind. But unfortunately, Muslims themselves are not united and not doing their duty properly. They are a house divided in itself.
During the last 60-70 years we have seen the colonised Muslim nations breaking the chains of bondage and becoming independent and capableof deciding their future course. We have also seen the Iraq-Iran war and a number of other conflicts among Muslim countries.
At present we are faced with the worst subjugation of almost all Middle East countries. The United States which swears by liberty and human rights has imposed its hegemony in the form of the terrorist country, Israel, which is consistently causing wars, bloodsheds and massacres.
The Muslims should ask a question from themselves: why aren’t they asserting themselves, and why are they allowing the U.S. and other big powers to interfere in the affairs of the Muslim nations? Why are the Muslim countries dependent on the U.S., Russia and other hegemonic countries? Why is the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) silent and dormant? Why doesn’t it interfere and give a call for a conference and start a comprehensive process of dialogue and reconciliation?
Do the Muslim countries want to repeat their crime of calculated silence which they showed when 75,000 defenceless men, women and innocent children were slaughtered in Gaza? The urgent need of the hour is to stop the war and bloodshed in the Middle Eastand pave the way for reconciliation and peace.
Trump and other big leaders are interested in your oil and other resources, and sale of weapons of mass destruction to fill their coffers.
Please stand up for peace and life with dignity. Otherwise Allah and history will never forgive the leaders of the Muslim world. Allah Almighty will punish them in the form of ignominy and subjugation in this world and punishment in the next world. May Allah save us fromboth.
