The behaviour of MIM activists with Taslima Nasrin was uncivilised, hence condemnable. But, like Salman Rushdie, Taslima is also an agent of western haters of Islam and Muslims. The Government should not have allowed her to stay in India. Her grubby books contain most insulting and derogatory contents about Islam and Muslims. They hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims all over the world.
We Muslims are astonished to note that the upholders of Taslima Nasrin’s right to freedom of expression were raising a hue and cry on Dr. Ambedkar’s book Riddles of Hinduism and on Khushwant Singh’s critical remarks about Rabindranath Tagore and his books. Why did they condemn and curse Dr. Ambedkar and Khushwant Singh? Why double standards?
