The Zionist state of Israel is one of the most ruthless states of the world. Its story is the story of worst human rights violations, illegal occupation, heinous atrocities on original inhabitants of Palestine and endless bloodshed. In fact, it has been acting as a proxy of western powers to control West Asia.
After Balfour Declaration of 1917 by the British Government, the Jews started migrating to Palestine from all over the world. Before this they were only around 7 percent in Palestine and had been enjoying peaceful life with their fellow Muslim majority and Christian citizens. In 1948 Israel was created as a state by the western powers. In a war with neighboring Arab countries, it extended its area, and in 1973 war with Egypt and some other neighbors it further extended its territories. Now about 95% Palestine is in the possession of the Zionist state.
Israel had agreed to the concept of an independent Palestine state but it never granted it. It has full control on the Occupied West Bank and Gaza. It has conceded only partial power to the original inhabitants there. Its expansionist policies have been declared as illegal and against international law. But secretly the west endorses its policies. The United States has been backing it with all means and now openly giving it military aid.
Gaza has 2.3 million population which is under the strict control of the Zionist state. Israel allows a few thousand of laborers from Gaza to enter Israel daily and return to Gaza in the evening. They are just like slaves who have no human rights. It is highly degrading that Gaza cannot have any sort of independence. Its land, sky and resources are strictly controlled by the Zionist state. Gaza is called the open air jail of 23 lakh Palestinians, the original inhabitants of Palestine. The frustrated and tortured fighters of Hamas, to teach a lesson to the cruel Israelis, launched an attack on 7th October. It was a reaction to the continuing atrocities and inhuman treatment.
Now Israeli PM Netanyahu has started a new wave of atrocities. US and some of the Western countries are openly backing the Israeli war on besieged population of Gaza. Netanyahu is determined that Hamas is completely destroyed. More than 3 lakh forces have gathered on the Gaza border. Water, electricity and food has been blocked to the entire population. Thousands of people, most of them non-combatants, have died up to the time of writing these lines. Thousands of air strikes have hit the civilian residents of Gaza. Now only a miracle can stop a bloodbath and massacre of the 23 lakh men, women and children. Today, on 13th October, Israel has asked eleven lakh residents of North Gaza to evacuate within 24 hours and run for their life. They want to destroy the network of resistance operated by Hamas.
If saner elements of world governments do not intervene and stop Israel from destroying Gaza, it would be a shame for humanity and failure of good sense and diplomacy. The world is watching in horror to see whether Israel is stopped from acting as a terrorist state.
