In celebration of Women’s Day, the Libas Sewing Training Center, under the auspices of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Coimbatore, embarked on a heartwarming initiative to empower women from low-middle-class families. On this significant occasion, eight deserving women who had completed their training were bestowed with the invaluable gift of sewing machines.
The recipients, hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, had exhibited exemplary dedication and perseverance throughout their training period. Despite facing financial constraints, they demonstrated unwavering determination to excel in their craft and build a better future for themselves and their families.
Recognizing the transformative impact that access to sewing machines could have on their lives, JIH Coimbatore took a commendable step to support these women on their journey towards self-sufficiency and empowerment.
