Though the creation of Telangana has become a foregone event yet the manner in which the two principal parties chose to clear the bill with a voice-vote without debating over the apprehensions of the Seemandhra people over key issues like water sharing, safety of settlers in Hyderabad, etc. has set a wrong precedent. Who guarantees that the Congress and the BJP will not resort to clear the contentious bills in future, by a give-and-take policy?
