Jai Bhagwan Goyal, a hardcore Shiv Sena activist, has reportedly claimed to have confessed that he took part in Kar Seva campaign with an intention to demolish Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992 in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. He disclosed that Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray had directed him to participate in Kar Seva campaign. “Yes! I pulled down Babri Masjid during Kar Seva campaign,” he added. Goyal is particularly known as a star campaigner of Sena in North India. He played a vital role in promoting the communal agenda of his party and earned up a lot of appreciations during the last 20 years.
According to a report, following the demolition of Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992, in a statement, Bal Thackeray confessed that Shiv Sena activists had also demolished the Babri Masjid and it is “a matter of pride” for all party activists.
Now spewing venom against his own party supremo Bal Thackeray, Goyal said “the lamp of the house has burnt down the house.” Shiv Sena is on the verge of extinction due to longstanding leadership of Bal Thackeray and time has come to change the leadership of the party.
