Once again the inhuman atrocity personified in the shape of Israel is smashing and pulverising Gaza, and the whole civilized world is watching with fear the collective punishment imposed upon the 18 lakh hapless Gazans. The world fails to understand how long the open air jail will continue and the holocaust will cast its evil spell on innocent Palestinians.
In this heinous aggression, the Israeli forces are attacking Gaza from air, water and land. This is being done by one of the largest, strongest and cruellest armies of the world with the solid support of America. More than 400 civilians, including innocent women and small children have lost their lives and the number of the injured and crippled has exceeded two thousand persons.
Massive protests across the world are taking place continuously. Indian capital and hundreds of cities and towns have registered their resentments through demonstrations. But unfortunately the present Indian Government, considered to be over-sympathetic to the Israeli regime, is keeping mum. Our Foreign Minister shamelessly said that the Government considers both Israel and Palestine as our friends. Does it mean that we will not respond when the wolf is torturing the lamb because the wolf is our friend?
The BJP Government must condemn the Israeli bombardment in clear words and remember the golden words of Gandhiji that Palestine belongs to Palestinians as England belongs to the Englishmen. Our Government must act as a democracy and condemn the Israeli attacks on the inmates of open air jail called Gaza.
It is unfortunate that the OIC, Arab League and Arab and Muslim countries are not doing their best to stop the aggression. UN Security Council must tackle the issue, interfere and stop the aggression.
Britain and America are the main culprits who gave birth to Israel and a rubber stamp UNO put its seal on the illegal entity of Israel which was imposed upon the Arab and Muslim world. The permanent solution to this issue lies in concerted efforts to give shape to the “Promised State of Palestine” for Palestinians with international guarantee of its security and existence. Unless this is done, Israel will continue its aggression, expansion and savagery. Meanwhile, the encircled people of Gaza do not have any other option than directing their ineffective missiles towards Israel to express their ire and anger on their deplorable plight.
Let Israel learn a lesson that Hitler cannot live long, holocaust cannot be perpetrated on Palestinians and justice cannot be denied to Palestine for ever.
