Do men think that they will be let alone on saying, ‘we believe,’ and that they will not be tested?” (29:2). “That which is on earth We have made but a glittering show for mankind that we may test as to which of them are best in conduct.” (18:7)

“Do you suppose that you would enter the Garden of Paradise without Allah knowing who among you would strive hard for His cause and endure with fortitude?” (3:142)

“You will surely be tried and tested in your possessions and your persons, and you shall surely hear many hurtful things from those who were given the Book before you and from those who set up partners with Allah, but if you endure with fortitude and restrain yourselves, that indeed is a matter of strong determination.” (3:186).”

Social scientists therefore have first to instil moral values that stand destroyed in blind following of the so-called western culture and stop the disease of aiming at wealth, wine, and women, from spreading to anyone and everyone.

While the real deterrent against crime and the motivation for righteousness can ultimately be only faith and belief in justice of Lone Creator, it is the prerogative and responsibility of the so-called civilized and secular governments as well to make law deter crime both on paper and in practice.

Creating adequate awareness about unity of all religions, and imbibing of tolerance for others’ points of view among all only can stop rising ethnic violence and unrest the world over.
