Frank Islam Inaugurates Management Complex in AMU

Dr Frank F Islam, US based Entrepreneur, philanthropist, Civic leader and Alumni of AMU, inaugurated the newly built Frank and Debbie Islam Management Complex in the presence of many dignitaries, friends, teachers and students.

Dr Frank F Islam, US based Entrepreneur, philanthropist, Civic leader and Alumni of AMU, inaugurated the newly built Frank and Debbie Islam Management Complex in the presence of many dignitaries, friends, teachers and students.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Islam, while thanking all those people associated with the construction of the complex, said, “From this Management Complex leaders will emerge who will make India and the world a better place. They will be leaders rather than managers, executives, business owners and entrepreneurs and these leaders will play a significant role in making society and the world a better place.”

The chief donor, Frank Islam, while sharing his feelings with Radiance after the inauguration programme, said that the motive behind investing in this Management Complex is to prepare the students at AMU to emerge as entrepreneurial leaders who will engage in economic development that will create jobs and opportunities for thousands of people in India and around the world. I hope my personal story will inspire them to become global entrepreneurial leader. On the question of future educational project, he said, “I would like to open a school in Azamgarh for girls.”

On the occasion, Frank also expressed his gratitude to Ameer Ahamed, Nadeem Tarin, Dr. Abdullah, Ali Rizvi Parvaiz Talib and Tauqeer Sherwani for their support during the project.

The first phase of the newly built Management Complex was completed with the sum of 20 crore. Islam donated $2 million for this Management Complex.  AMU Vice Chancellor, General Shah, while addressing the audience, informed that another AMU alumnus, Dr Nadeem Tarin has agreed to construct the second phase of this Management Complex. This is just the beginning; many more such developments will take place in the days to come.

Dr. Frank Islam’s US based representative Dr Abdullah Abdullah and Mr S Ali Rizvi, the innovator of the idea, philanthropic donors namely Mr Ameer Ahmad, Mr A G Danish, Dr Nadeem Tarin, Mr Ziaul Islam Khan Sherwani, Mr Tauqeer Sherwani (representative of Dr Frank Islam in India), Prof Valeed Ansari (Dean & Chairman, Faculty of Management Studies & Research) and Prof Parvaiz Talib (Officer on Special Duty, New Management Complex) were also present on the occasion.
