JIH Chennai Metro Division OpensHidhaaya Islamic College for Girls

The Hidhaaya Islamic College for Girls was inaugurated on by the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Moulavi A. Mohammed HaneefaMabayeeon May 14. It is a milestone and embedded event in the history of Chennai Metropolitan City. It is in fact a dream project of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind – Chennai Metro Division.With this inauguration a much-awaited Islamic College for Girls by the residents of Chennai Metropolitan City came into reality.

Syed Sadatullah Husaini Re-elected Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind

Mr. Syed Sadatullah Husaini has been re-elected Ameer (President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. The 162-member Markazi Majlis-e Numaindagan (Council of Representatives), of which 36 are women, assembled at the Jamaat headquarters from 26 April to 30th April 2023. The Council of Representatives discussed and re-elected him for a four-year term from April 2023 till March 2027.

APCR Assures 1000 Bails, Takes Up 1700 Cases to Provide Justice for Victims

President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Syed Sadatullah Husaini, while lauding the instrumental role of APCR, said it has boosted morale, confidence and courage of the people. HWF Transforms Lives of Marginalised Students and Orphans

Human Welfare Foundation (HWF) under Vision 26 programme awarded scholarships with cheques to 140 meritorious students from weaker and marginalised sections and orphans to transform their lives and in return to contribute to the society, community and nation building at a programme held at the India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi on March 18.

Carrying Forward the Academic Legacy of Nejatullah Siddiqi Will Be Real Tribute to Him

A seminar on academic contributions of Dr. Mohammad Nejatullah Siddiqi was organised by Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research (IIISR), Shoba e Farogh e Fikr e Islam, JIH Delhi and the Board of Islamic Publications (BIP), at Afzal Husain Auditorium, IIISR, Delhi on February 24. During the programme a book Essays on Islamic Economics and Finance,highlighting some of the important contributions of Professor Nejatullah Siddiqi to Islamic Finance was released by Dr. Abdul Azim Islahi.

Around 25,000 Women Flock to JIH West Bengal’s Mass Congregation in Kolkata, for Their Rights and Safety

Around 25,000 women on January 22 assembled at the Park Circus Maidan, Kolkata in a conference exclusively organised for women by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) West Bengal. Raising voice against atrocities on women, a sea of women of all faiths gathered at the famous ground of the capital city of West Bengal under the central theme of “We demand to give women their rights and protect women.”
