Global SDG Summit 2022 to Open on February 25

Global Mental Health Association (GMHA) in collaboration with CliMed Research Solutions, Gurugram, Haryana, and Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi is organising a Global SDG Summit 2022 (25th and 26th February 2022 in a hybrid mode) in order to promote sustainable development goals and create awareness among stakeholders, including leaders, policymakers, activists, and public.

Global Mental Health Association (GMHA) in collaboration with CliMed Research Solutions, Gurugram, Haryana, and Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi is organising a Global SDG Summit 2022 (25th and 26th February 2022 in a hybrid mode) in order to promote sustainable development goals and create awareness among stakeholders, including leaders, policymakers, activists, and public.

The Summit aims to create awareness about the 17 UN SGDs among every stakeholder across the globe and guide them about how they can contribute to them individually. They also wish to provide a global platform to the students, entrepreneurs, and global leaders all under one roof to present their work, their opinions, and point of view. Education, Recognition and Collaboration are the three main outcomes that GMHA, CliMed and Jamia Hamdard have envisioned from this one-of-a-kind summit.

The e-Launch of the SDG Summit 2022 was held on January 19 in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. S Ram Ola CEO, Jet Serve Aviation. The event was addressed by Ms. Mansi Dholakia CEO and Founder GMHA; Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Afshar Alam; Registrar, Mr. Syed Saud Akhtar, Jamia Hamdard;  Dr. Ajit Singh, CEO and Founder CliMed Research Solutions.

Dr. Zeenat Iqbal, Deputy Dean Students’ Welfare and Associate Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research was appointed Nodal Officer for the event from Jamia Hamdard  and would be the Organising Secretary for the Summit.  Ms. Gayatri Chadwa, Chief Operations Officer, GMHA, Co-Founder & Director GMH Foundation will be heading the operations of the summit.

The event was also attended by Major Rakesh Sharma, Shaurya Chakra – Retired Army Major; Dr Amrita Pachauri, Student Counsellor and Dean at IIMT Institute; Ms. Sonia Hossain, Actor and Producer from Bangladesh and Dr. MS Rathore, Principal, Geetanjali Institute of Pharmacy, Geetanjali University, Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Also officials from the university, including various Deans, Professors, Deputy Registrar, Public Relations Officer, Faculty/Staff and the core committee members from Jamia Hamdard, GMHA and CliMed research solutions attended the event.
