IFT’s Grand Book Festival at Ooty

Islamic Foundation Trust, Chennai has organised its “Grand Book Festival” in the hill town Ooty. The Book Fair was inaugurated by Mr. Nagarajan, District Library Officer, Nilagiri District, Tamil Nadu. While addressing the gathering, Mr. Nagarajan congratulated IFT for making the tourist hill town into the town of knowledge by organising the Book Fair.

Islamic Foundation Trust, Chennai has organised its “Grand Book Festival” in the hill town Ooty. The Book Fair was inaugurated by Mr. Nagarajan, District Library Officer, Nilagiri District, Tamil Nadu. While addressing the gathering, Mr. Nagarajan congratulated IFT for making the tourist hill town into the town of knowledge by organising the Book Fair.

The first of its kind, IFT’s grand book fair is attracting the attention of the tourists. Thousands of tourists from all over India , speaking different languages and even foreigners are thronging the IFT Book Fair since the day of opening. The book fair will be opened till June 10, 2007 daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Holy Qur’an, Life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be with him), History of companions and several other titles in Tamil, English, Urdu, Hindi and Malayalam languages have been displayed in the book fair.
