IIC-JIH Pune Organises Exhibition on Life and Teachings of Prophet Muhammad

Islamic Information Centre, Jamaat e Islami Hind Pune organised a three-day exhibition named YOU SHOULD KNOW RPOPHET MUHAMMAD based on the life of Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) at Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery, Pune.

Islamic Information Centre, Jamaat e Islami Hind Pune organised a three-day exhibition named YOU SHOULD KNOW RPOPHET MUHAMMAD based on the life of Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) at Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery, Pune. It started on 20 May and came to an end on 23 May 2016. The exhibition showcased 67 panels on the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammad.
The exhibition was inaugurated by senior journalist, Mr. Baviskar Vijay Madhukar, Editor Lokmat group of newspapers, Pune; Shri Moreshwar Ghaisas Guruji Ved Acharya Pune; Rt. Rev. Thomas Dabre, Bishop of Poona; Munawwar Peerbhoy, Chairman Haji Ghulam Mohammad Azam Trust Pune; Professor Azeez Mohiuddin, JIH Pune and Imtiyaz Shaikh, Secretary Dawah Cell JIH Maharashtra.
Mr. Madhukar, who inaugurated the exhibition, said, “I feel honoured and privileged to be here, I have gone through the exhibition and learnt many things about Islam and Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him). I congratulate the entire team of JIH Pune for conducting this event. He further said, “There are certain things we do not like to miss or lose; if we do so, we regret for life. This event is of the same kind, had I not been here today, I would have lost a great opportunity.”
Appreciating the efforts taken by JIH Pune, Ved Acharya, Shri Moreshwar Ghaisas Guruji said, “This is the third time that I am invited by JIH Pune. I always feel pleased to be with these people. I got a copy of the Holy Qur’ān from you and read it regularly.”
Rt. Rev. Thomas Dabre, Bishop of Poona, said, “Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) was a great leader. He had a charismatic personality, today I learnt that Islam prohibits interest and gives interest-free economic system. If it is practised, our Indian farmers will not commit suicide in Maharashtra and other parts of the country.”
Shaikh Karimuddin, in-charge IIC Pune and Sec. Dawah Cell JIH PUNE, said, “As many as 67 panels on life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) are displayed under different headings like faith, biography, teachings, etc. of the Prophet. We have invited people of all faiths to know the correct message of Islam so that we may get success in this world and hereafter.” He thanked all the dignitaries for giving their valuable time.
