JIH Ameer Inaugurates Radiance New Building

Ameer-e-Jamaat, Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari, while inaugurating the new building of Radiance on 31 December, praised the services of Radiance Viewsweekly in establishing itself as a true representative of the community. He also lauded the continuous struggle of the Jamaat leaders and Radiance staff who over the years contributed to its growth and popularity. He urged those at the helm of affairs to make further progress and strive for excellence without compromising its purpose and goals. He asked them to strive in the direction in order to make it a vibrant voice of the community.

Earlier Dr. S. Ausaf Said Vasfi (former Deputy Editor of Radiance), in his speech, threw light on the journey of Radiance and challenges faced in the past and efforts made to overcome them.

Intizar Naim, former Director of Radiance and Maulana Ejaz Ahmed Aslam, Editor-in-Chief of Radiance, reminded the audience of different phases of Radiance since its inception. Kamal Ahmad, Manager Radiance, elaborated the various aspects of the magazine. He especially mentioned how the idea of a new building of Radiance emerged.

The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’ān by Sikandar Azam, Editor Radiance. It was compered by Dr. Waquar Anwar, Secretary of the Board of Islamic Publications, under which Radiance is published.
