The retail showroom of MMI Publishers was inaugurated by Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind on 22 September.
The Jamaat Ameer, after inaugurating the showroom, said all kinds of Islamic books are available here for readers of all class and age to fulfil their intellectual appetite and to expand the intellectual horizon which in itself makes it unique in the entire country. No centre can provide all stuff to satisfy one and all. He asked the audience to avail the benefits available here, however, the quest for advanced research material will always be there but that should not deter us from getting benefit from the available huge treasure available here for the readers. The JIH leader further asked the people to have a deep understanding of the subject and become a master of at least one subject through deep understanding of the subject and not through superficial knowledge.
Earlier, Atiqur Rab, Manager of MMI Publishers, while highlighting its journey since its inception, informed the gathering about the role played, achievements made and challenges faced all through these years. He clarified MMI Publishers is not limited to publishing only religious texts but also has published books on various topics such as Islamic history, Islamic philosophy, jurisprudence or fiqh, contemporary Islamic thoughts, education, children literature, self-improvement and almost every topic beneath the sun.
Muhammad Naiyar, Production Manager of MMI Publishers, told Radiance that the showroom will remain open from 10 am to 8 pm from Monday to Saturday and will remain closed on Sunday. The programme was conducted by Abdur Rahman Falahi.
