JIH Sec-Gen Opens Pre-Marital and Family Counselling Centre

One more Pre-marital and Family Counselling Centre was opened as per the plan formulated during 23 April-7 May nationwide Personal Law Awareness Campaign launched by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. The Counselling Centre in Dawat Building in New Delhi was inaugurated by Dr. Mohammad Salim Engineer, Secretary General of JIH, on 3 June.

One more Pre-marital and Family Counselling Centre was opened as per the plan formulated during 23 April-7 May nationwide Personal Law Awareness Campaign launched by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. The Counselling Centre in Dawat Building in New Delhi was inaugurated by Dr. Mohammad Salim Engineer, Secretary General of JIH, on 3 June.

The JIH leader, after inaugurating the centre, informed the audience that so far 160 Counselling Centres have been established in the country and towards the end of the 4-year tenure 1000 counselling centres would be established across India. He elaborated that establishment of counselling centres is an important part of the organisation’s Policy and Programme. It is aimed at safeguarding our family system and solving our marital disputes. He also urged the people to utilise the services of counselling centre and avoid taking their family or marital dispute to elsewhere. According to him, Pre-marital counselling can be very useful to minimise misuse of personal laws.

Waris Hussain, Ameer-e-Muqami of Abul Fazl Enclave Unit told Radiance that this centre will remain open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week from 11 am to 1 pm and efforts would be made to inform more people about this centre through social media, print advertisement and also through the various mosques in the locality.
