A high-level delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind led by Jamaat Vice-president, Nusrat Ali, visited the Nooh district of Haryana. First, the delegation went to Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Medical College where the lady injured in the incident was admitted. The delegation enquired about her wellbeing and comforted the attendants. The delegation spoke with the eyewitness who was a child and enquired in detail about the whole incident.
Later, the delegation attended the Mahapanchayat. Social activists, politicians of all party, religious leaders, advocates and many respected community members were present there. There were a total of 8000 people. Muhammad Saleem Engineer, Secretary General JIH addressed the gathering.
He said, “Compensation is right but justice is more important and it should be delivered. He expressed great disbelief and shock over the behaviour of police and administration. He expressed his pleasure over unity of people present there and assured that we shall struggle together in future.”
Afterwards the delegation went to the incident site and met the family members of the victim. Vice president Nusrat Ali said that in this time of sorrow and hardship Jamaat-e-Islami Hind will stand by them and will help them at all levels.
The high level delegation comprised Vice President JIH Nusrat Ali, Secretary General JIH Muhammad Saleem Engineer, Public Relation Coordinator Wasiq Nadim Khan and Haryana Zone Incharge Engineer Khaliquzzaman. Victims advocate Noor Muhammad was also present with the delegation throughout.
