Noted freelance socio-political thinker and analyst N. Jamal Ansari was honoured with Syed Asghar Ali Shamsi Memorial Award-2011 by Aligarh based literary society “Dayar-e-Adab” in acknowledgment of his contribution to the field of literature and journalism.
The award was presented to him in the Yaad-e-Raftgaan programme held in the Annual State Agriculture and Industrial Exhibition of Aligarh on February 22, 2011. Citation presented to him on the occasion states that he has published 412 articles in English, 82 in Hindi and 06 in Urdu.
He is also a regular contributor to Radiance Viewsweekly besides rendering his services in the Public Relations Office, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.
