Radiance Manager Retires, New Manager Takes Charge

Radiance Viewsweekly organised a farewell cum get together on 30th March to pay tribute to its outgoing Manager, Mr. Kamal Ahmad, who had rendered his services to the weekly for about 13 years. Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Aslam, Editor-in-Chief as well as Printer and Publisher of the weekly, was in the chair.

Dr Waquar Anwar, Secretary Board of Islamic Publications, informed the audience about the services of Mr. Ahmad. He said Mr. Ahmad had retired one year and a half ago; thereafter his services were extended and now we are giving formal farewell to him. He also lauded the initial role Mr. Kamal Ahmad had played in the construction of Radiance building. Besides, he mentioned his commitment and devotion as well honesty and integrity in maintaining the accounts of the weekly during his tenure.

Mr. Sikandar Azam, Editor Radiance, speaking on behalf of staff of the weekly, shared his experiences and mutual cooperation with Mr. Ahmad in planning and execution of various managerial affairs, especially special issues.

Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Aslam, speaking from the chair, said that only Allah the Creator is permanent and all other beings and things are subject to change. He also prayed to Allah to grant His Acceptance to the services rendered by Mr. Kamal Ahmad.

Mr. Arshad Shaikh, Media In-Charge of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, recalled his first meeting with Mr. Kamal Ahmad during the latter’s visit to Dubai. Mr. Mohammad Jafar, former Naib Ameer JIH, also shared his experiences with Mr. Ahmad and praised his contribution.

Mr. Kamal Ahmad, while speaking on the occasion, recalled his experiences with staff and shared his contribution in association with other members of the organisation and Jamaat leaders and thanked all for their support and cooperation.

On 1st April, Mr. Khalid Nadeem joined Radiance Viewsweekly as its new Manager. He took charge in the presence of Dr. Waquar Anwar, Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Aslam, Mr. Sikandar Azam and other members of te weekly. Dr. Anwar informed the members that Mr. Nadeem has wide experience of printing and publishing. Earlier, he rendered his services in the Production Department of Hamdard and Rasna, he added. All the persons present on the occasion welcomed Mr. Nadeem and prayed to Allah for His Help and Guidance in discharging his duties.
