The Scholar School, Abul Fazl Enclave, New Delhi organised a number of programmes in a big way to mark its Annual Day in the sprawling school premises on Mar 26. This was the second annual function since its fresh launching in 2010. Pupils belonging to the various classes, right from K.G to Standard V, presented interesting plays, debates, cultural and action songs, speeches and mushaira (poetic concert) on this occasion.
Speaking as Chief Guest, Dr. M.A. Baseer, renowned Career Counsellor from Maharashtra, advised the parents to play an active role in shaping the personality of their kids. He expressed his pleasure on the performance of the little boys and girls who participated in the various programmes. He congratulated the school administration for the same and said the pupils’ brilliant performance showed the hard work of the teachers. “It was beyond my expectation,” he said.
Mr. Mohammad Ashfaque Ahmed, Secretary for Education Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, and Mr. Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui from Hyderabad also addressed the gathering and expressed their pleasure on the progress of the school in a short time.
The school also felicitated its best students in the various categories, best administrator, most hardworking teacher and most responsible and concerned parents of one child from every class.
Madeeha of Class VI was felicitated as the best student for her best performance in the examinations, Shifa Maryam of Nursery for the most disciplined child, and Yusuf Zafar of Class IV for his being the most regular student in the school. Ms. Ambrin Siddiqui was honoured with the best teacher award and the manager of the School, Qazi Muhammad Miyan with the best administrator award.
Principal of the school, Mrs. Naseema Khan presented the annual report of the school. In her address she called upon the fathers of kids in particular to spare time for their wards.
The hard work of the teachers such as Ambrin siddiqui, Anamika Chauhan, Shikha, Fauzia Khan, Saima Khan, Hina Siddiqui, Aasiya and Razia Lateef, and the continued practice sessions with the help of the pupils for over two weeks made the annual day celebrations a memorable one.
The dignitaries who graced the occasion included Prof. K.A. Siddique Hassan, Mohammad Ashfaque Ahmed, Rafeeq Ahmed, Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, Salimullah Khan and Javed Ali.
